154 – Yves Dubois – The Importance of Fitness to Optimize Performance

 

Summary:

Yves Dubois is a former high stakes cash game player who transferred to being an online nutrition and fitness coach for high-performers such as entrepreneurs, high-stakes poker players, and other professionals in high demanding work environments. Knowing the ins and outs of the fitness industry by heart, Yves is dedicated to helping people feel their best, both physically and mentally, and does that by providing individualized guidance to his clients.

In this episode, we’re talking about his journey in poker, why he got started in fitness, and the strategies he applies to coaching his clients and helping them live their healthiest lives.

Each month we have one strategy session with me to go over their performance cycle, analyze it, and take shared strategies, implementable steps to improve and then they go to Stephen to implement these steps at a deep subconscious level through hypnotherapy. 
  • 25:34 “ I think the value of this is going to be to prevent stuff like burnout for busy professionals, we are going to be able to have them experience how it is to have it all more balanced with their family life, for example, relationships, get more fulfillment out of this, we can optimize their prime their mindset, their performance, state of performance, to peak in their career”
  • 30:24 “…basically managing their database to keep them up to performance dates as much as possible.”
